I'm sure we're not alone in seeing the disconnect between organisations stating their support for flexible working, only to find flexible or SMART working policies that are good at saying 'no' or provide so-called flexibility within strict working limits.

This is the SMART working policy we came across in one organisation whilst conducting one of our HR Business Consultations.

Employees are empowered to work where they want, when they want, so long as they meet the criteria above.

So refreshing to see an organisation live its value of 'trust' and having an 'adult' relationship with its employees, supported by policies that are culturally aligned. I'm afraid to say this isn't something we get to see that often.
